- In 2006, the Hispanic population in the U.S. represented 44.7 million people. That number is expected to increase to 47.7 million in 2010, representing 15% of the total population. In 2030, the respective numbers will be 73.1 million people, representing 20% of the total population.
- Presently, 66.8% of the Hispanic market is Mexican, the ensuing countries are Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic and the other countries.
